I for one would at least like to eliminate the pig part of that sentence. So why not treat yourself to one of those bright shiny racing bikes. The great thing is riding a bike is a great way to keep fit and even if you do feel great about yourself then you could still use it to tone up pretty much every muscle in the body.
Here it is the top five things to have either on your bike or on you when taking part in a vigorous event or even a simple bike ride. Get those bike pedals ready because here they come. 5. Energy bar or energy gel. These things are great for anytime before or after the events you take part in as they restore the essentials you have just lost or about to lose making you feel a lot better. You can even get gel that actually overtime helps support you when building up your muscles. The gel is great because you can use it on the go. 4. The bike helmet Lets be honest if any proffesional went outside without one of these they would be setting a really bad example. Only really in the top five simply because it is simply vital to own one.Of course it cannot be forgotten just how many different helmets there are with some even made for hot or cold weather. 3.The small onboard computer Having this is what really makes you a proffessonal cyclist in my opinion. These are so easily attached to the bike and can really help out during a training session. [...]

2. Wheels
At number two simply because I love to change the wheels on my bike. There are thousands of designs to use ranging from the plain wheels that come with every bike or various other ones like zipp wheels.

1. At number one is the most important thing you need on a long riding trip. Its not exciting stuff and I haven't built up to it at all.
A simple water bottle comes in first simply because without it you would certainly not be able to carry out long stretches.

Well there you have it, the top five things to take with you and use when using a racing bike.

Bikes shops Sussex is a perfect example, have fun!

If you want to get in shape, biking is a great way to go. Cycling helps you get around, stay healthy, and avoid dumping gas into your car! As you might expect, there are many different disciplines within cycling. In this article, we will explain the different types of cycling, and how to get started with each of them. Let’s talk about commuter bikes first. Commuter bikes are purpose built for getting around town, and do the job quite well. These can be anything from old mountain bikes, road bikes, fixies, or any other comfortable inexpensive bicycle. More and more people are getting fed up with gas prices, and giving bicycle commuting a try. If your aim is to put to get around, a commuter bike is the way to go. If you like things a little rougher, give a mountain bike a try. Mountain bikes are rugged bikes intended for off-road use. These bikes have large, knobby tires that make them ideally suited for off-road use. Mountain bikes come in hardtail and full suspension deseigns. Today, full suspension bikes are by far the most popular. However they’re also the most expensive. If you’re looking to save money, hard tails [...]

If you’re looking to save money, hard tails might be the way to go. You can also save money by going for a used mountain bike.

If you are feeling the need for speed, road biking might be for you. These fast, sleek bikes are very fun to ride for long distances. Road cycling is also a great aerobic exercise, and a means of transportation. Today’s road bikes are made of many high-tech materials, such as carbon fiber. Buying a carbon fiber road bike can set you back a bit, but the result is worth it for many. Buying a road bike can be a little tricky for new riders, but if you get somebody at the shop to help you, it shouldn’t be too bad.

If you’re looking for more of a hybrid bike, a cyclocross bike might be in your future. A cyclocross bike is a combination of a road bike and a mountain bike. These bikes closely resemble road bikes, but have knobby mountain bike like tires that allow them to handle basic off-road. Cyclocross bikes are great for competing in cyclocross events, as well as getting around town. Their fast yet rugged design makes them ideal each suited for a broad range of purposes.
